When creating the logo for Affinity by True Freedom, we aimed to align it closely with the new logo for True Freedom. Although the True Freedom logo has been developed, we are currently focusing on Affinity by True Freedom since it is a new brand and requires foundational materials.
Concept: The word “Freedom” is central to our design, with the “F” as the focal point. This represents not only the services we offer to our members but also the overarching theme of freedom, including in our designs. Recognizing the diverse groups interested in Affinity, we designed the logo to integrate seamlessly with other brands. We use three font types: Serif, Sans-Serif, and Cursive, allowing our logo to adapt to various design styles.
Typeface: Unfortunately, we cannot provide downloads for the fonts out of respect for the artists who created them. However, you can find these fonts online:
- Athelas: Used for the serif letters A, I, N, I, T, Y.
- Amalfi Coast: The cursive font representing the “F,” also used for various design elements.
- Acumin Variable Concept: The sans-serif font for the subtitle “By True Freedom.”
Color: True Freedom’s primary color is blue. We wanted to maintain this connection while offering flexibility. Representatives and groups can change the logo color, particularly the “FF,” to suit their needs. Our main color theme is a gradient blue, transitioning from True Freedom’s blue to a lighter shade, symbolizing Affinity as the younger brand. For color changes, we provide an EPS file, ensuring high-quality vector graphics. You can use programs like Adobe Illustrator or free alternatives (Inkscape, BoxySVG, Vectr).
Usage: The image above illustrates various ways to use our logo, including full color, inverse, and black & white for faxing purposes.
File Format: Our logo was created using Adobe Illustrator to ensure it maintains quality in vector format. Since we cannot distribute the fonts, we outlined all text in the logo, eliminating the need for font downloads. Upon request, I can provide an AI file.
Available Formats:
- .eps: Editable vector format.
- .svg: Web-friendly vector format. Standard and inverted with no background (transparent).
- .png: High-resolution raster format with transparency. Standard, inverted, screen ready, and print ready. All have no background (transparent).
- .jpg: Compressed raster format without transparency. Standard with white background and screen ready.
All files are packaged in a .zip archive, compatible with most built-in unzip features on PCs and Macs.
